Sophia Marie Schubert is an American professional golfer. Schubert began playing golf at the age of four when her mother registered her and her sister for golf lessons. Seeking a new hobby later in life aside from golf, she began to learn how to fly airplanes by taking lessons at the McGhee Tyson Airport, 20 minutes from her home in Oak Ridge.

As of November 2022, she had been flying for five months with the goal of receiving her pilot’s license within the next year. After she obtains her pilot’s license, she wants to get her own plane.
