Miguel Santiago was born on March 6, 1973. He is 50 years old and is an American politician, currently serving in the California State Assembly, where he serves as chairman of the Communications and Conveyance Committee.
Santiago is a Democrat representing the 54th Assembly District, which encompasses p arts of Downtown Los Angeles, along with East Hollywood, Boyle Heights, Montebello, Commerce, and Vernon.
He is a member of the California Latino Legislative Caucus. Prior to being elected to the Assembly in 2014, he was a member of the Los Angeles Community College District Board of Trustees.
