Marty Harbin is a Georgia State Senator and a member of the Republican Party. He was first elected to the Senate in 2014. He represents District 16 which includes Lamar, Spalding and Pike Counties and most of Fayette County.

Harbin was ordained as a deacon and taught Sunday School. In 1996 they moved their membership to Fayetteville First Baptist Church where he has also served as a deacon and taught Sunday School classes for over 20 years.
He and Debbie actively support Southwest Christian Care, Christian Families Today, the Fayette Pregnancy Resource Center, as well as many
