A public document by KNUST’s Public health school has proposed the smoking of shisha in Ghana to curb Coronavirus spread.

It further called for a ban of the sale and importation of tobacco products including cigarettes during the COVID-19 pandemic, noting that COVID-19, which causes respiratory illness, could present aggravated symptoms and worsen outcomes due to the use of tobacco.
