Daniel Noboa Azin is an Ecuadorian business administrator, politician and businessman in the banana industry. He is located between the center and the center-left of the political spectrum. He is a candidate in the 2023 Ecuadorian general election. He was a member of the National Assembly of Ecuador, between 2021 and 2023.

Daniel Noboa Azin’s net worth

Daniel Roy-Gilchrist Noboa Azin was born on November 30, 1987 (age 35 years) in the Ecuadorian city of Guayaquil. He is the son of the businessman Álvaro Noboa and of the doctor Anabella Azin.

Career

Daniel Noboa Azin founded his own company at the age of 18, DNA Entertainment Group, dedicated to organizing events. After studying at the New York University Stern School of Business, he obtained a degree in Business Administration in 2010.

He obtained a Master of Business Administration (2019) from the Kellogg School of Management in Evanston, Illinois. Later, he obtained a master’s degree in Public Administration (2020) at Harvard University. Subsequently, in 2022, he earned a master’s degree in Political Communication and Strategic Governance from George Washington University.

Daniel Noboa Azin joined the Noboa Corporation, where he became a Shipping Director. He was also the commercial and logistics director, between 2010 and June 2018. He was elected to the National Assembly in the 2021 legislative elections, representing Santa Elena, for the United Ecuadorian political movement.

He was inaugurated on May 14 of the same year. In that same May, he became president of the Commission for Economic, Productive and Microenterprise Development. In March 2023, he was in favor of the “Muerte cruzada”, in the face of the rejection and filing of the Investment Law, presented by the government of Guillermo Lasso.

In May 2023, with the dissolution of parliament amid the political crisis, Daniel Noboa Azin presented himself as a pre-candidate for the presidential elections of the same year, by the political movement Acción Democrática Nacional (ADN), and was supported by the movements: People, Equality and Democracy (PID), and MOVER.

In June 2021, a complaint filed by Noboa was admitted to a Spanish court, to investigate the insurer Mapfre for the alleged crime of violation of the right to privacy and disclosure of secrets, for data used by Goldbaum during the divorce process.

Daniel Noboa Azin is currently married to Lavinia Valbonesi, they had their wedding in 2021. His second wife is a social media influencer and they first met in 2019. The couple have a son together. However, on January 13, 2018, he married his first wife Gabriela Goldbaum, with whom he had a daughter. They later divorced.
