Daniel John Willett was born on October 3, 1987 (age 34 years) in Sheffield, Yorkshire, United Kingdom. He is one of four brothers born to his parents. His father, Steve, was a Church of England vicar and his mother, Swedish-born Elisabet, was a maths teacher.
